How to Prepare:
- Take a tablespoon of flax seeds and soak it in 1 cup of water overnight.
- Heat the soaked flax seeds with water and bring to boil. Now, reduce the flame and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Don’t forget to stir continuously.
- Do a spoon test. If the liquid doesn’t drop quickly, then it is time to take it from heat. Also, make sure that the gel doesn’t become too thick. Otherwise, it would be difficult to apply in hair.
- The gel will look like gelatine and be thick when it is ready.
- Cool the gel, transfer to an airtight container and it is ready!
This gel can be stored in the refrigerator for a week. You can also freeze it and use it when required.
